For the first time in Indonesian commercial motorcycle (wheel-3) apply the diesel engine. Elephants APPKTM 500D as precursors, which are produced by PT Asean Motor International (AMI).
Introduced from Jakarta Fairground (PRJ) 2013. Elephants APPKTM armed 500D diesel engine type 460cc Injection WY188FD using technology HEE (High Efficiency Engine).
The technology can keep the engine cool and economical fuel oil (BBM) as well as generating power 8.2 kW at 3,600 rpm and torque of 23 Nm at 2.600rpm. Using axle MVF-F (Full Vehicle Mini - Floating Rear Axle) which can withstand load transport goods in bulk as well as accurate and safe vehicle braking.
Elephant applying transmission 500D 4-speed type and 1-speed backward and use a single dry clutch. Wrapped with a fuel tank capacity of 14.6 liters exclude as much as 2 liters reserve.
2 meter long bath and 1.28 meters wide so that goods haulage 500D Elephants can accommodate loads up to 800 kg largest in its class. Sold at a price of Rp 30.5 million (OTR-Jakarta).
